Web Design in Pittsburgh

written 17 Feb 2007 either awfully late or awful early

Chris Cagle from pghdesigners.com was nice enough to offer me an interview the other week. Chris has a bunch of Pittsburgh related sites, including a local source to businesses in the area as well as a way to blend your ads into your site.

I’m really in to this particular site of his, though: pghdesigners.com – to see some sort of effort on the part of a local web designer to put this together for the rest of the community is the type of thing that makes you want to stick around for another few years and just start hugging eachother like trees are going out of style.

Plus he uses WordPress, which is always a bonus in my book. Which is a rather nice, leather-bound piece, really a compendium of sorts.

3 people chatting it up...

  • Its great to hear how local designers are excited and happy about the Pittsburgh Designers project. It has taken up quite a bit of my time recnetly, but I feel that something like this was sorely needed in our great city for a long time now…

  • I’ve actually been looking at your site and your portfolio for the past week or so because I’m doing a paper on web design. I really admire what you do and your attitude towards it. I feel this consistent vibe when skimming the sites you’ve developed. The visual balance and color scheme you use is pleasing to the eye, being that I’m no tech or web person.
Keep doing what you’re doing!! =)

  • Thanks Song! Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help.
