all the friends you’ll never know
and all the ones who made their go
to find whatever far aways would try and give them happily ever after

and what’s the point of longing
for the things that don’t belong in
the current time and space to which we choose to sing our song in?

i’ve read that only time will tell
if hello again will follow the last farewell
or if we’ll spend the rest of our lives asking “whatever happened to them?”
and of all the greatest memories
of friendships that came to define me
are they all just the building blocks of reminisce or the reason I only sleep to dream?
