Seriously though, just managing it for them isn&#039;t enough, you&#039;ve got to ingrain &lt;em&gt;why&lt;/em&gt; they shouldn&#039;t be doing it. Because there&#039;s an amazing beautiful world of people, pleasure, swingsets, fence pole licking and toad pee to explore. Much more fascinating than any Princess Toadstool.</description>

		<description>Wow, this is such a well-written post. A serious subject, but I was laughing throughout.  

This topic reminds me of a book I read in college - Player Piano by Kurt Vonnegut.  It suggested that the advancement of technology doesn&#039;t necessarily improve one&#039;s quality of life.  New technology can make your life worse.  I can&#039;t imagine how difficult it would be to have a child and try to manage the exposure to TV, cell phones, computers, etc.  It sounds like a full-time job!</description>
