sometimes i worry that my co-lefties place way too much emphasis on a candidate’s facility with the mother tongue. but then i read something like this and i’m like, “oh yeah, they’re right.”

I liked when he called him Senator Kennedy. “Internets” was great, but forgetting your opponent’s name is just in another league.
