Ah, Today

Today is the open sun on face glimmering elusive heat through my kitchen window to set my pace. The blue sky stands absolved of winter, clearly crisp and counting down the precious second moments until I find myself from groggy after slumber to dense realization at the prospects of the upcoming cycle of the earth.

My eyes are thick with crust and my head is thin with happy lofty hope as I step, barefoot, into the breast of good good morning tides.
