I’ve been thinking about this since yesterday. Youre actually going to meet these isolated people. There will be so much different about them. I wish I could meet them too.

Wow its actually a ghost town. And unlike that other one you visited, I reckon this one will be really empty! COOL!

Well, Van Tassel was certainly no Ghost Town. It had a population of 17, 6 of which were on the town’s council and we were lucky enough to just be dropping by while they were “in session.”

They were basically just normal people, really friendly, much more so than most of the people you would ever meet back east, living among these amazing buttes, cliffsides and fields.

The ghost town has long since been torn down, some of the old shops have been converted into homes but for the most part, this “town” is just a few houses, one business (an autobody shop) and a road passing through.
