Portfolio Item: Introducing the New YLFresh.com
Yerecic Label is one of my favorite types of companies to work with. They’re based in Pittsburgh, they’re proving that manufacturing in the United States isn’t a thing of the past, and they’re a family run operation spanning generations.
Oh, and they’re absolutely wonderful to work with (not a requirement for me, but always a bonus!)
We went through my usual process of back and forthing over what exactly they needed from their site, things like “What is the primary goal you want users to achieve?” and “What kinds of information do you need to present, and what do you think the order of importance is?” From there, I start asking the Internet things (we call this research in the web design biz; something Yerecic Label is also big on) like “What are companies seeking a label manufacturer actually looking for?” via a variety of means.
The end result?

We’re talking 95/100 Pagespeed score on desktop, beautiful, user-directed design and just a lovely site all around. Give it a gander!
